June 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm - 3:00 PM
Calendar
Date & Time

June 27 | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Event Types :
Join us for a two-part series designed to help you build and maintain balance throughout your life.

In Part 1 of our Balance 101 series, we focused on building your balance, and in part 2, we will continue to work on your range of motion. Crosby Wellness Center’s Dawn Marzlock will lead you through standing exercises near our chairs. We will also build our gait and focus on weight shifting. In this class, we will not only build our balance but also learn how functional fitness and balance are important parts of our everyday life. With these building blocks, we can continue to enjoy the things we love and want to do throughout our lives, including sports, travel, and living with a full range of movement. Come gain confidence to keep living well!

Program notes: Dress comfortably to move. All levels welcome. Chair available. Dawn will be hosting two balance related workshops — on June 22 and June 29 — that are built on each other but can be taken independently. No prerequisite. Join us for one or both.

This program is presented by Dawn Marzlock and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
