June 20 | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Event Types :
Join us for a two-part series designed to help you build and maintain balance throughout your life.

Balance is something we may not think about until we start to lose it. Poor balance does not have to be inevitable as we age; there are many things you can start incorporating into your daily routine at any age to help keep you balanced for life. In this interactive workshop, led by Crosby Wellness Center’s Dawn Marzock, we will discuss posture and how we can strengthen our core and legs for balance to become easier, gain our confidence in different mobility situations and importantly reduce risk of falls.

Program notes: Dress comfortably to move. All levels welcome. Chair available. Dawn will be hosting two balance related workshops – on June 20 and June 27 — that are built on each other but can be taken independently. No prerequisite. Join us for one or both.

This program is presented by Dawn Marzlock and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
