In this class led by Crosby Wellness Center group fitness instructor Nicole Elliot, you’ll learn easy, fun yoga poses.

Yoga is a powerful tool for the body, mind and soul, and it can be a powerful ally in your tweens’ and teens’ busy, sometimes stressful, lives. In this free yoga class, led by Crosby Wellness Center group fitness instructor Nicole Elliot, junior yogis 10 and older will learn easy, fun yoga poses and practice calming meditations. She will also lead the class through yoga postures, calming breathing techniques and tips on practicing mindfulness in your everyday, busy lives.

Program notes: This class is appropriate for ages 10 and older. Please bring your own yoga mats and water to class.

This program is presented by Nicole Elliot and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the Crosby Wellness Center.

 About the Presenter:  

Nicole Elliott is a group fitness instructor at the Crosby Wellness Center. Certified by the Yoga Alliance, Nicole has been teaching children’s yoga for three years. She says it’s a wonderful way for parents and kids to connect and learn new ways to stay healthy and happy!
