Join Studio K dance instructor Tara Smartnick for a class that focuses on deep, focused stretching while blending additional principles from Yoga, Pilates, and Meditation. This class is perfect for all ages and all fitness levels to help you let go of the stresses of the day. It’s also the perfect complement to your other fitness conditioning classes as it will help you work on your movement techniques.

Program note: Please bring a yoga mat.

This program is presented by Studio K and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.

About the Presenter: 

Tara Smartnick is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and started her dance training when she was just three years old. At 16, she moved to Los Angeles to begin her career as a professional dancer. While attending college, she began to study aerial arts, and landed her first role as a professional aerialist in 2012 performing above dolphins and beluga whales at SeaWorld San Antonio’s show, “Azul.”  In 2016, Tara spent a semester abroad where she was one of 12 participants selected to train and perform with one of Ireland’s largest aerial dance companies. After touring professionally for several years, in 2022 she made Orlando, Florida her new home where she now performs at many of the theme parks and popular venues in Central Florida. Tara has also recently returned to teaching dance, aerial, and fitness classes, and is both a studio and Mobile Instructor for Studio K.
