Complete a full body strength workout using muscles in your upper body, lower body and core.

Strength training is one of the greatest gifts women can give their bodies for lifelong wellness. Benefits of strength training include increased bone density and improved cardiovascular health, plus positive mood and mental health.

In this program, led by Crosby Wellness Center group fitness instructor Becca Schmidt, you’ll complete a full body strength workout using muscles in your upper body, lower body and core. Proper form, including modifications, will be taught, increasing your confidence for making strength training a regular part of your fitness routine.

This program is presented by Becca Schmidt and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the Crosby Wellness Center.

 

About Your Program Presenter

Becca Schmidt has been teaching yoga and yoga fitness for 18 years. Her certifications include Yoga Therapy for Seniors, Prenatal Yoga, Hands on Assist, Yoga for Dance and more. She holds the experience level accreditation to teach other yoga teachers.
