HIPS: Move Your Body the Hawaiian Way (In Person)

May 16 at 3:00 pm - 4:00 PM
Calendar
Date & Time

May 16 | 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Join us in person for “HIPS: Move Your Body the Hawaiian Way” on Monday, May 16 at 3 PM in the Community Conference Center.

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, a nationwide celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. In honor of AAPI, you are invited to experience the spirit of aloha by celebrating the music and movements of Hawaii, swaying your hips to this island style dance fitness program.

Join Studio K Instructor Kai Kamai for a Polynesian style fitness class that adds sass and swag into your daily step. Fun cardio music will get you moving before island music slows the pace for additional toning work. This program is low impact and for all levels. Enjoy a new way to move, followed by special Hawaiian-themed treats from Nourish Coffee Bar + Kitchen.

Special Instructions: Attendees are strongly urged to dress in comfortable clothing and sneakers. Bringing a water bottle is recommended.

This program is presented by Studio K and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.

Cancelling Your Reservation: If you are unable to attend a program, cancelling your reservation gives us an accurate count of how many to expect; for sold-out programs, cancelling your reservation also allows someone on the waitlist to attend in your place. Cancelling can be done in two easy ways: by calling 407.644.2492 and selecting Option 1, then Option 3 to speak to a representative or by using the online ticket cancellation option in your original confirmation email from Eventbrite.

By participating in this program, you agree to CHWB’s Gracious Space policy.
