Stay fit for life!

Don’t lift weights just to look good. Lift weights so when you’re older you can get off the toilet (squat), walk up the stairs (lunges) and carry groceries (farmers carries). Lift so you can pick up your kids and grandkids.

Functional fitness prepares your body for the years ahead. No matter what you have in store, from grand adventures to future health challenges, functional fitness can keep you moving throughout your life. In functional fitness, we focus on cardio, strength training, balance, flexibility, and coordination.

This program is presented by Julie Rooth and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with Crosby Wellness Center.

About the Presenter:

Julie Rooth has been an ACE certified group fitness instructor since 2017 and is a member of the Crosby Wellness Center group fitness team. Julie plans and teaches workout classes reaching many throughout the community, working with clients of all ages from teens to adults, to help everyone reach their fitness goals.
