Join us for Everyday Exercises to Enhance Your Life (Webinar) on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11 AM.

What if the exercises you chose directly impacted your activities of daily living? What if there was a way to use exercise to your advantage? Join Sara Wright, personal trainer at the Crosby Wellness Center at the Center for Health & Wellbeing, as she demonstrates how to do functional movements that will enhance your ability to perform everyday tasks. You’ll learn how to easily incorporate these skills into a healthy lifestyle.

By participating in this program, you can expect to:

  • learn how functional exercises can improve your ability to perform daily activities.
  • learn how to execute specific functional exercises.
  • discover how to apply the skills learned to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

This program is presented by Sara Wright and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in collaboration with the Crosby Wellness Center.

How to join the Zoom Program:

Upon registration for this program, you will receive two emails:

  • One email from Eventbrite: you can either disregard this email or save it for your records. No action is needed with this message.
  • One email from the Center for Health & Wellbeing: this email will contain your link to join the Zoom meeting. Simply select the link and the Zoom Meeting will launch. Please allow yourself five – 10 minutes before the program starts to launch Zoom and confirm your technology is working properly.

About the Program Presenter

Sara Wright is a personal trainer with the Peggy & Philip B. Crosby Wellness Center at the Center for Health & Wellbeing (CHWB). She also serves as the Wellbeing Guide at CHWB. Wright joined the Winter Park Health Foundation, owner of the Crosby Wellness Center, in March 2019. She works directly with community members providing wellbeing coaching and consultation. Wright makes suggestions, provides educational resources, and links each person to programs and services suited to attain health and wellbeing goals safely and smartly. She also creates an individualized plan and provides motivational support as each community member works to achieve success along their personal wellbeing journey. Wright has more than 20 years of professional experience, including the following areas of expertise: Social Services, Health Education, Community Relations, Management, Personal Training, and Fitness Coaching. She earned a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and two bachelor’s degrees. She is passionate about helping others reach their goals and achieve self-empowerment.
