In this class led by Crosby Wellness Center group fitness instructor Nicole Elliot, you’ll learn easy, fun yoga poses.

Yoga is a powerful tool for the body, mind and soul, and it’s the perfect activity your whole family can enjoy together. In this free yoga class led by Crosby Wellness Center group fitness instructor Nicole Elliot, you and the children in your life will learn easy, fun yoga poses and practice calming meditations. She will also lead the class through yoga postures, calming breathing techniques and tips on practicing mindfulness in your everyday, busy lives. Orange County Public Schools are closed on October 7, so bring your favorite junior yogis and help them return to school in a calmer, more focused state.

Program notes: This class is appropriate for ages four and older. Please bring your own yoga mats and water to class.

This program is presented by Nicole Elliot and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the Crosby Wellness Center.

About Your Program Presenter

Nicole Elliott is a group fitness instructor at the Crosby Wellness Center. Certified by the Yoga Alliance, Nicole has been teaching children’s yoga for three years. She says it’s a wonderful way for parents and kids to connect and learn new ways to stay healthy and happy!
