Come stretch your way to better health in this activity-filled workshop led by Crosby Wellness Center group fitness instructor KK Swanson.

Want to improve your flexibility? Routine stretching is a key component to improving your overall health and wellbeing. Some of its many benefits include decreased risk of injury and improved flexibility. It’s also a proven mood and mental health boost! In this interactive, activity-filled workshop, Crosby Wellness Center group fitness instructor KK Swanson will demonstrate how to stretch the body’s major muscle groups in a safe and effective way. Join us to learn new flexibility techniques that you will incorporate into your daily routine!

In this program, you will learn the muscle groups of the body and how to stretch them and how to incorporate stretching into your daily routine. Plus, when you leave this program, you will feel comfortable with breathing and meditation techniques to improve your overall wellbeing.

Program Notes: Please bring your own yoga or fitness mat and come dressed in comfortable fitness attire and closed toe shoes. We also recommend bringing a water bottle that can be refilled in our refillable water station.

This program is presented by KK Swanson and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the Crosby Wellness Center.

About the Presenter:  

Katelynn Swanson, aka KK, has been working in the fitness industry for over 12 years. After attending the University of Florida and earning both her bachelor’s and Master’s in exercise science, KK worked with clients and companies all over New York City. She currently owns a personal training and nutrition business, helping clients all over the US become healthier. KK specializes in strength training, weight loss and nutrition education.
