Join us in person for “Strength Training with Osteoporosis” on Monday, May 23 at 2 PM in the Community Conference Center.

It’s never too late to start an exercise program, even if you have osteoporosis. In fact, strength training can prevent you from further fractures or falls.

In this informational session with Crosby Wellness Center fitness specialist Ethan Dorleans, you’ll learn how to properly and safely exercise to build strength while living with osteoporosis. Dorleans will explain the many benefits of continuing with a fitness program after diagnosis and will share important do’s and don’ts when it comes to fitness activities. Learn how to live with osteoporosis and stay active, an important step in maintaining your overall health and wellbeing.

This program is presented by Ethan Dorleans and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the Crosby Wellness Center.

Cancelling Your Reservation: If you are unable to attend a program, cancelling your reservation gives us an accurate count of how many to expect; for sold-out programs, cancelling your reservation also allows someone on the waitlist to attend in your place. Canceling your reservation for this program is especially important as most of our programs have limited capacities. Cancelling can be done in two easy ways: by calling 407.644.2492 and selecting Option 1, then Option 3 to speak to a representative or by using the online ticket cancellation option in your original confirmation email from Eventbrite.
