Take some time to de-stress for the holidays in this 60-minute practice of Restorative Yoga with Crosby Wellness Center yoga instructor Katie DeAscanis. In Restorative Yoga, the purpose is to relax, and in this class, you can expect calming music, dim lighting, staying on the floor, and being supported throughout your practice. No yoga experience is necessary to participate in this program, and you’ll leave with a happy heart to take into the holiday season.

Program Notes: Please come dressed in comfortable clothing and bring your own yoga mat.

This program is presented by Katie DeAscancis and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the Crosby Wellness Center.

About Your Program Presenter

Katie DeAscanis is a yoga instructor and graduate student studying mental health counseling. After a successful 10-year career in corporate sales and marketing, she took the leap to follow her true passion — facilitating a space for people to explore themselves and grow in ways that will help them reach their goals. Katie has been teaching yoga since 2018. She is passionate about teaching yoga as a practice to cultivate peace in the body and the mind.
