In honor of Earth Day, learn the anatomy and the benefits of these poses while honoring our natural environment.

Did you know many yoga poses are inspired by nature? Explore the foundations of some of yoga’s most popular poses including Tree, Eagle, Lizard, Crane, Fish and Pigeon. In honor of Earth Day, learn the anatomy and the benefits of these poses while honoring our natural environment. This class is appropriate for yogis of all levels, whether it’s your first or 100th class.

Special notes: Please come dressed in comfortable clothes and bring your own fitness mat and water.

This program is presented by Becca Schmidt and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the Crosby Wellness Center.

About the Presenter:  

Becca Schmidt has been teaching yoga and yoga fitness for 18 years. Her certifications include Yoga Therapy for Seniors, Prenatal Yoga, Hands on Assist, Yoga for Dance and more. She holds the experience level accreditation to teach other yoga teachers.
