Join us virtually for “Dynamic Stretching vs. Static Stretching” on Tuesday, June 21 at 3 PM.

To most people, a stretch is a stretch. But did you know that there are different types of stretching? Depending on the type of exercise you’re about to participate in and your fitness goals, you may choose a particular style of stretching to get the most out of your workout. Join Crosby Wellness Center’s Fitness and Medical Integration Manager Darien Nunez to learn more about these main types of stretching and how they can drastically improve your workouts.

By participating in this session, you can expect to:

  • define dynamic stretching and static stretching.
  • learn when and how to accomplish these types of stretching.
  • learn examples of dynamic and static stretching.

This program is presented by Darian Nunez and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in collaboration with the Peggy & Philip B. Crosby Wellness Center, a medically integrated fitness facility located inside the Center for Health & Wellbeing.

• One email from the Center for Health & Wellbeing: this email will contain your link to join the Zoom meeting. Simply select the link and the Zoom Meeting will launch. Please allow yourself five – 10 minutes before program start to launch Zoom and confirm your technology is properly working.

About Your Program Presenter

Darien Nunez is an Orlando-native who serves as the Fitness Manager and MyFitRx supervisor at the Crosby Wellness Center located within the Center for Health and Wellbeing. Darien graduated from the University of Central Florida with his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Darien’s passions for health and wellness began with helping others achieve an improved quality of life through exercise and behavior modifications.
