Dancing is good for your body, mind and spirit and learning a new style can boost those benefits to even greater levels.
Discover the history and music behind the Tango, while satisfying your curiosity and practicing the elegant movements you’ll learn. We encourage you to invite someone to join you on this dance journey, whether it’s your partner, family members, coworkers, or friends. However, if you’re dancing solo, we will try to pair you up with another attendee.
Experience the exhilarating sensation of being carried and carrying others on the dance floor.
This program is presented by Isabel Acuna and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the Crosby Wellness Center.
About the Presenter:
Isabel Acuna is passionate about Argentine Tango etiquette and dancing. After leaving her hometown to immerse herself in the Tango mecca of Buenos Aires, she dedicated 15 years to teaching and performing abroad. Her dream is for everybody to be able to access the benefits of this cultural movement. Tango is poetry and music, and the good news is that we can also dance it and connect with others.
