Springtime brings the most incredible fresh vegetables. We’ll take the guesswork out of the best way to prepare the bounty of the spring with simple and delicious spring vegetable side dishes.

Join cookbook author Katie Farmand in the CHWB Nutrition Theater to learn to make (and sample) Spring Peas and Asparagus with Lemon and Basil; Butter-Braised Radishes; and Pan-Seared Zucchini with Sesame-Soy Glaze.

About the Presenter:

Katie Farmand is an avid home cook who aims to empower people to get comfortable in the kitchen. The former editor of Edible Orlando magazine, she was a co-host of the web series Delicious Disney and served as emcee for the Festival Stage at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, hosting chef cooking demonstrations and interactive workshops. She is the co-author of two cookbooks Field to Feast: Recipes Celebrating Florida Farmers, Chefs & Artisans and Good Catch: Recipes Celebrating the Best of Florida’s Waters.
