After the indulgence of Thanksgiving and before the height of the holiday season, learn to make some lighter recipes to keep you healthy during the most wonderful time of the year.

Join cookbook author Katie Farmand in the CHWB Nutrition Theater where she’ll make (and you’ll sample): Red Lentil Kitchari, Salmon and Veggie Miso Soup, and Curry Broccoli Salad.

About the Presenter:  

Katie Farmand is an avid home cook who aims to empower people to get comfortable in the kitchen. The former editor of Edible Orlando magazine, she was a co-host of the web series Delicious Disney and served as emcee for the Festival Stage at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, hosting chef cooking demonstrations and interactive workshops. She is the co-author of two cookbooks Field to Feast: Recipes Celebrating Florida Farmers, Chefs & Artisans and Good Catch: Recipes Celebrating the Best of Florida’s Waters.
