Event Types :
Join us in-person or watch along live online for a special Food as Medicine cooking program, focused on whole foods for whole health.

Did you know that whole food plant proteins will keep you fuller longer than animal protein due to the fiber content? But does plant protein taste good enough to make this a lifestyle or incorporate it in some of your meals? Come to this class and find out.

Let’s explore the flavors of a vegan diet with Registered Dietitian and Culinary Medicine Expert, Allison Harrell, and AdventHealth family medicine physician George Guthrie, MD, author of “Eat Plants Feel Whole.”

Trust us — you will LOVE the dessert recipe!

You have two options for attending this program – save your seat in the Nutrition Theatre or click here to register for our free webinar and watch it from home. Whether you’re watching from inside the Nutrition Theatre or from home, you’ll also have the opportunity to share your questions and comments with Allison and Dr. Guthrie during the program.

This is a demonstration-style cooking program, so our in-person attendees should prepare to sit back, relax and let our chef prepare the meal while you enjoy the delicious items, including vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip. All attendees, both online and in-person, will receive a booklet for specific recipes TBA. Check our website for updates.

Cancelling Your Reservation: In order to receive a full refund, participants must cancel their program registration at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled start of the program. Center for Health & Wellbeing’s Refund Policy >>>
