Event Types :
Join CHWB Chefs and AdventHealth physicians for this innovative program from the Center for Health & Wellbeing.

Many nutrients, such as calcium, vitamin D, protein, magnesium, phosphorous, and potassium, play a key role in bone health. If you eat a healthy diet (with lots of fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, and lean proteins), you’ll get enough of most nutrients needed to keep your bones healthy and functioning well.

Join Rothman Orthopaedics’ Dr. Tunc Kiymaz and Allison Harrell, Registered Dietitian and Culinary Medicine Specialist, to learn more about how to keep your bones strong and taste delicious food to support your bone health.

You have two options for attending this program – save your seat in the Nutrition Theatre or click here to register for our free webinar and watch it from home. Whether you’re watching from inside the Nutrition Theatre or from home, you’ll also have the opportunity to share your questions and comments with Allison and Dr. Kiymaz during the program.

This is a demonstration-style cooking program, so our in-person attendees should prepare to sit back, relax and let our chef prepare the meal while you enjoy the delicious items. All attendees, both online and in-person, will receive a booklet for the featured recipes: Mini Egg Bites; Peanut Butter and Jelly Power Bowl; and Watermelon Strawberry Slushie Mocktail.

Cancelling Your Reservation: In order to receive a full refund, participants must cancel their program registration at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled start of the program. Center for Health & Wellbeing’s Refund Policy >>>
