Come and discover the world of raw desserts as you learn to make tasty, nutritious sweets.

Raw food desserts are healthy, tasty, and free from all the sugar, flour, butter and cream of traditional recipes. Often people can’t believe raw desserts can be this tasty.

They are also ideal for anyone who loves sweets but is avoiding refined carbohydrates and sugars, dairy products, and unhealthful fats. If you want to experience new flavors and you want your family to eat the best and most nutritious desserts, this class is for you. Hosted by plant-based, certified ACE health coach Julie Ward, you will learn techniques and tips for introducing raw desserts into your diet. Sample recipes include: Raw Strawberry Cream Truffles and Healthy No Bake Snickers Pie.

There is no heating involved, so these treats will also maintain their original whole food nutrient dense value. Julie will be using some nuts in the recipes. Nuts and seeds are a great source of heart-healthy fats, fiber and protein, and they pack a number of vitamins and minerals. If you have an allergy, please let the host know.
