Chef Collette Haw is back with one of her popular Mediterranean Diet cooking programs, and this time, it’s time to health up your lunch routine!
Doctors and health experts frequently recommend the Mediterranean Diet to patients due to its extensively proven health benefits. Studies have shown it can do everything from lower your risk of cardiovascular disease to slow the decline of brain function as you age.
Join Chef Collette Haw, a classically trained Culinary Institute of America graduate with a passion for seasonal, sustainable cooking, in the CHWB Nutrition Theatre where you’ll learn how to make and sample the following recipes: Couscous Tuna Niçoise Salad, a healthy take on a Tuna Niçoise Salad incorporating whole grains; 10-minute Mezze Plate, a mezze plate is like finger foods so this plate will have cheese, meats, hummus, and veggies; and Salmon Power Bowl, a lunch that can be made ahead of time and “meal-prepped.”
This program is presented by Collette Haw and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
