Join Chef Collette Haw in the CHWB Nutrition Theatre to learn how to keep a well-stocked Mediterranean Diet pantry!

Chef Collette Haw is back with one of her popular Mediterranean Diet cooking programs, and this time, you’ll learn how to keep a well-stocked Mediterranean Diet pantry!

Doctors and health experts frequently recommend the Mediterranean Diet to patients due to its extensively proven health benefits. Studies have shown it can do everything from lower your risk of cardiovascular disease to slow the decline of brain function as you age.

Join Chef Collette Haw, a classically trained Culinary Institute of America graduate with a passion for seasonal, sustainable cooking, in the CHWB Nutrition Theatre where you’ll learn how to make and sample the following recipes: Quinoa, Feta & Pistachio Stuffed Acorn Squash, a dinner idea packed with plant-based protein from the quinoa, sweetness from the delicious roasted squash, and a touch of savory from the feta and pistachios; Spaghetti with Greek Olives, a quick weeknight meal for nights you forget to swing by the grocery store on your way home; and Beet & Carrot Salad with Walnuts, featuring two all-star Mediterranean Diet staples.

This program is presented by Chef Collette Haw and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.

About the Presenter:

With a passion for seasonal, sustainable cooking, Chef Haw approaches her cooking with a passion for blending comfort-food-gone-healthy and ‘food as medicine’ philosophies. Chef Haw spent several years operating her own successful meal delivery service out of Longwood—Collette’s Clean Eats—and as a private chef to a celebrity family in Atlanta before launching Nourish Coffee Bar + Kitchen at the Center for Health & Wellbeing.
