The days are longer, the kids are out of school and the pool is open. And the last thing you want to do is spend hours over a hot stove. Celebrate good times, good friends, good living and the best of summer produce with a fun and easy dinner party. Join Katie Farmand, editor of Edible Magazine, in the CHWB Nutrition Theatre for a fun class designed to get company-worthy dinner on the table in no time. She’ll be making (and you’ll be sampling) the following dishes: Zucchini “Carpaccio” with Mint and Feta, Pappardelle with Burst Tomatoes, Corn and Crab, and Strawberry Eton Mess.

This program is presented by Katie Farmand and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.

About the Presenter:  

Katie Farmand is the editor of Edible Orlando magazine and an avid home cook. She was a co-host of the web series Delicious Disney and served as emcee for the Festival Stage at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, hosting chef cooking demonstrations and interactive workshops. She is the co-author of two cookbooks Field to Feast: Recipes Celebrating Florida Farmers, Chefs & Artisans and Good Catch: Recipes Celebrating the Best of Florida’s Waters.
