In this workshop, led by CFCArts Simone Boos, you’ll learn some basic watercolor techniques while connecting different colors with emotions

Have you ever viewed a piece of art or heard a song and a wave of emotions just hit you? Joy. Sadness. Nostalgia. Longing. Awe. These are all emotions commonly associated with great art. Picture those emotions: do you see a color? You’ve heard the expression “seeing red” to describe anger. It’s just one example of many of the connections between colors and emotions.

In this workshop, led by Central Florida Community Arts teaching artist Simone Boos, you’ll learn some basic watercolor techniques while also connecting different colors with emotions.

This program is presented by Simone Boos and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
