With skyrocketing grocery costs, we’re all looking for ways to save money on food costs. Have you considered growing your own herbs? It’s an easy, affordable and healthy way to add fresh flavors to your regular dishes.

Join us for Herb Gardening, an online class intended for growers to learn the basics of setting up an herb garden including herb propagation and herbal recipes. This class is led by the team at Fleet Farming, a non-profit program of IDEAS For Us. Learn more about Fleet Farming at www.FleetFarming.org.

This program is presented by Veronica Renzette of Fleet Farming and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.

How to join the Zoom Program:

Upon registration for this program, you will receive two emails:

• One email from Eventbrite: you can either disregard this email or save it for your records. No action needed with this message.

• One email from the Center for Health & Wellbeing: this email will contain your link to join the Zoom meeting. Simply select the link and the Zoom Meeting will launch. Please allow yourself five – 10 minutes before program start to launch Zoom and confirm your technology is properly working.

About the Presenter:  

Veronica “Vern” Renzette is an urban gardener and garden educator, born and raised in sunny South Florida and now based out of Orlando, where she works with Fleet Farming. An avid home grower of both edible plants and Florida natives, Vern strives to impel her peers and students to participate in the “everyday environmentalism” of having a garden, as well as to benefit from the many advantages it provides for one’s mental and physical health. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in Environmental Science.
