About the Presenter:
Veronica “Vern” Renzette is an urban gardener and garden educator, born and raised in sunny South Florida and now based out of Orlando, where she works with Fleet Farming. An avid home grower of both edible plants and Florida natives, Vern strives to impel her peers and students to participate in the “everyday environmentalism” of having a garden, as well as to benefit from the many advantages it provides for one’s mental and physical health. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in Environmental Science.
