Join us on Thursday, June 10 at 1 PM for Swim Tech – Next Generation Tools for the Water (Webinar)

Wearable and App technology is finally coming of age in the water. Not only has the waterproofing of many technologies become substantially better, but new tools as diverse as clothing and wearables to goggles and coaching apps have all been specifically tuned for swimmers as well as triathletes, surfers, stand-up paddle boarders, and any other sport imaginable in, on, or under the water.

Join Dr. David Metcalf, Director of the UCF Mixed Emerging Technology Integration Lab, to explore the latest in swim tech. You’ll also hear from the founders of Phlex, Augmented Reality Smart Swim Goggles, and a host of other wrist-worn, wearables and mobile apps that complement the latest and newest technologies in fitness for H20.

By participating in this program, you can expect to:

  • learn about the latest swim technologies;
  • hear world-class swimming tips;
  • get all your questions answered in advance of your summer fun in the water.

This program is presented by Dr. David Metcalf and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
