Members of the Central Florida Watercolor Society invite you to a special program, Plein Air Painting, a hands-on opportunity to engage in an up-close experience with the art of watercolor. “En plein air” is a French expression which means “in the open air,” and is used to describe the act of drawing or painting outdoors with watercolors or other types of paint. For this event, teachers and supplies will be provided, just show up with a sense of fun and creativity! This event is open to artists of all ages. Also, there will be plain air artists doing live paintings outdoors, in various locations around the property, so if you’re not up to painting yourself, you’re also welcome to come and observe the art in action. Come, enjoy a beautiful day and let nature inspire you!
While you’re at the Center for Health & Wellbeing, be sure to visit the Healthy Living Experience and visit this month’s special exhibit featuring nearly 100 paintings from Central Florida Watercolor Society artists, part of the society’s annual juried art show.
This program is presented by the Central Florida Watercolor Society and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
