The latest research into diabetes has revealed some results that might surprise you (and even your health-care team). Even the thinking on the cause of diabetes has been turned on its head, opening up new avenues for turning this disease around.

In fact, lifestyle factors are at the heart of the cause of diabetes, making them also closely linked to the cure. More and more people are discovering that they can halt or even reverse their diabetes with lifestyle changes.

In this seminar, certified lifestyle medicine physician Laura Varich, MD, will share the latest scientific-backed research into the causes of the disease and will share actionable tips for living with diabetes – and preventing it in the first place.

Program note: This program will primarily focus on Type 2 Diabetes.

Learn about specific foods to add to your diet to increase insulin sensitivity and learn to make lifestyle changes that you can start applying to your daily habits today!

This program is presented by Dr. Laura Varich and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
