Date & Time

March 15 | 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Event Types :
CFCArts teaching artist Chris HIcks will help you explore the Bard’s words and forms, and in the process, soon be writing poetry with ease.

In this creative workshop you will see
That sonnet writing really isn’t hard.
We’ll work on form and creativity
And write a poem worthy of the Bard.

You’ll play around with Shakespeare’s words and form
And maybe even add some ‘Thou’s’ and ‘Thee’s’.
Iambic rhythm will become the norm;
We’ll have you writing poetry with ease.

So join us for an hour or so of fun —
You’ll write a poem better than this one!!
