In our latest writing program, led by teaching artist Chris Hicks of Central Florida Community Arts, it’s time to fulfill your playwright dreams!
Strong characters are at the heart of plays as well as most fiction writing, and it’s through the monologue that the audience gets to hear from those characters directly. In this workshop, participants will learn a few simple techniques for writing a solid monologue.
No prior writing experience is necessary. Hicks, a seasoned English and theatre teacher, will walk you through the steps of putting pencil to paper and creating a piece of writing you’ll be proud to share with others.
This program is presented by Chris Hicks and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
