It is possible to still enjoy the holiday season without sacrificing your health and wellbeing goals. Food and Fit for the Holidays is a class designed to teach you about the building blocks of nutrition and the importance of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Plus, you’ll learn about the major muscle groups of the human body and exercises for each.

Crosby Wellness Center group exercise instructor Katelynn Swanson will discuss how nutrition and fitness work together to benefit your body. In this program, you will learn to leverage home recipes and workouts to become healthier while discovering useful tips to navigate the holidays in a healthy way.

This program is presented by KK Swanson and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the Crosby Wellness Center.

About the Presenter:  

Katelynn Swanson, aka KK, has been working in the fitness industry for over 12 years. After attending the University of Florida and earning both her bachelor’s and Master’s in exercise science, KK worked with clients and companies all over New York City. She currently owns a personal training and nutrition business, helping clients all over the US become healthier. KK specializes in strength training, weight loss and nutrition education.
