Event Types :

The first half of the school year is already behind us, and before we head into the busy, holiday season, this is the perfect time to help your kids refocus on their school-year goals and take a deep breath in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Winter Park Health Foundation and the CHILL program, which provides counseling services at Orange County Public Schools, are excited to present Family Fun Night: Fall Fun! We invite you and your family to stop by the Center for Health & Wellbeing in Winter Park for an evening of creative, nurturing, and most of all, fun activities.

You and your family will have the opportunity to participate in a number of activities, including arts and crafts; a positive affirmation/gratitude station; child-friendly meditation and breathing activities; dance party breaks; and games designed to help your family communicate better and work together.

Your guides for the evening will include counselors from the CHILL (Community Help & Intervention in Life’s Lessons) program, which provides counseling services at Orange County Public Schools. CHILL was founded in 1998 by the Winter Park Health Foundation in partnership with the 12 Orange County Public School serving Winter Park, Maitland and Eatonville. CHILL provides free, confidential, in-school counseling to students and their families.

Refreshments will also be provided and you’re welcome to stop by any time during the two-hour Family Fun Night. Registration is free but required. When registering, please include the number of people in your family you expect to attend.

This program is presented by CHILL Counselors and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
