Join us in person for “Entertaining with Spring Produce ” on Wednesday, March 30 at 11 AM in the Nutrition Theatre.

Learn how to host an unforgettable farm-to-table dining experience with delicious recipes featuring seasonal produce. In this program, Allison Harrell, a registered dietitian and Culinary Medicine Specialist, will prepare simple recipes perfect for entertaining and featuring spring must-haves for your kitchen. This is a demonstration-style cooking program, so prepare to sit back, relax and let our chef prepare the meal while you enjoy delicious items and learn:

  • how to use produce in season to create crave-worthy meals.
  • the health benefits of incorporating seasonal produce into your daily meal plan.
  • how to gain confidence in the kitchen preparing produce in season.

Special Instructions: While attending this in-person program, you will receive a booklet for the following recipes:

  • Spring Fruit and Avocado Salad
  • Asparagus Fennel Platter with Caper Sauce
  • Greek Burger Bites with Tzatziki Sauce

This program is presented by Allison Harrell and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.

Cancelling Your Reservation: If you are unable to attend a program, cancelling your reservation gives us an accurate count of how many to expect; for sold-out programs, cancelling your reservation also allows someone on the waitlist to attend in your place. About the Program Presenter

Allison Harrell is a registered dietitian nutritionist and plant-based chef who has been passionate about food and nutrition for more than 20 years. She advanced her knowledge by becoming a certified Culinary Medicine Specialist, certified in Weight Loss Management. Harrell believes that every time we eat, it is an opportunity to promote our health. She incorporates culinary experiences with a science-based approach. Her programs and tools make a positive difference to the health of our communities by instilling confidence and knowledge in the kitchen.
