Join us for Beginner’s Guide to Intermittent Fasting (Webinar) on Monday, February 28 at 11 AM.

With high-profile devotees like Jennifer Aniston and Jimmy Kimmel singing its praises, Intermittent fasting may be the latest weight loss craze, but it is more than just a diet trend. Intermittent fasting alternates between periods of eating and periods of fasting, with each one lasting a predetermined amount of time. It is a style of eating that many doctors now prescribe for their patients for its wide-ranging impact on the function of cells, hormones, and genes. Join Josephine Thomason MS, RDN, LDN, founder and owner of Nutrisi Consulting, and Sarah Gallander, BSc, CFNC, FBCA, founder and owner of the Wellness Matrix, to gain an understanding of the evidence-based health benefits and reasons to consider implementing intermittent fasting.

By participating in this program, you can expect to learn:

  • how intermittent fasting impacts the function of cells, hormones, and genes.
  • the role of intermittent fasting on weight.
  • the effects of intermittent fasting on insulin levels and overall risk for diabetes.

Special Instructions: Please have a notebook and pencil for note-taking.

This program is presented by Josephine Thomason and Sarah Gallander and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
