As the year draws to a close, take a moment to reflect on the past year and tap into your creative side (and yes, we promise you have one!).
Join Central Florida Community Arts Teaching Artist Simone Boos as you combine the art of found poetry and acrylic painting.
In this workshop, you will create an abstract acrylic painting with masking tape, and as the paint dries, you will create a found poem using magazines and other printed materials. This workshop is open to painters and poets of all skill levels, and Simone will help guide you through the process. All supplies will be provided, but if you have any meaningful poems or writings you’d like to incorporate into your piece, please bring it along.
This program is presented by Simone Boos and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
