Join us in celebrating National Senior Health & Fitness Day at the CHWB.

Join us on Wednesday, May 31 to celebrate National Senior Health & Fitness Day at the Center for Health & Wellbeing. This annual event is celebrated by tens of thousands of active older adults across the country, and we’re excited to bring the event to you.

At our event, our team of health and wellbeing professionals will share educational and inspiring messages to encourage you on your personal wellbeing journey, and we will be highlighting and celebrating some of our Crosby Wellness Center all-star members who are walking the walk!

During our event, you’ll hear from:

Center for Health & Wellbeing Executive Director Matt Noe, who will provide inspiration for incorporating Wholeness, Fitness and Medicine into your everyday life, including a focus on emotional, social, intellectual and physical wellbeing.

Crosby Wellness Center Director Patrick Faulk, who will share how a regular fitness routine can keep you physically and mentally strong for life

Crosby Wellness Center group exercise instructor Dawn Marzlock, who will lead you through exercises designed to help you strengthen and maintain your balance

Plus, we will be serving nourishing, delicious and healthy lifestyle foods, provided by Nourish Coffee Bar + Kitchen.

This program is presented by Matt Noe, Patrick Faulk and Dawn Marzlock and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.

About the Presenters:  

Matt Noe is the Executive Director of the Center for Health & Wellbeing. He has spent the last 14 years in the health, wellness, and education fields, most recently as the Director of the Crosby Wellness Center at the Center for Health & Wellbeing.

Matt started his career as a personal trainer and advanced into a variety of roles within the industry, such as Assistant Club Manager, Membership Sales Representative, Member Relations Manager, and Center Director.

Matt graduated with a B.S. in Sports Management from Eastern Kentucky University in 2007 and holds seven Nationally Accredited Certifications in the fitness industry.

Matt has also been a successful entrepreneur, business owner, consultant, and spokesperson in the health and wellness industry. He has a passion for serving others, leading people, and being involved in the local community and local church. In his free time, Matt enjoys camping with his family, playing sports, running, swimming, hiking, biking, and getting lost in a good book or documentary.

Patrick Faulk is the Center Director for the Crosby Wellness Center. Prior to joining the team at Crosby Patrick, spent the last 13 years with AdventHealth in their Institute for Lifestyle Medicine in Celebration, FL. Starting as a Personal Trainer and Member Services Representative, Patrick advanced to the role of Senior Manager of Clinical and Retail Operations where he oversaw the operations of the Wellness Center, Executive Health Program and Lifestyle Clinic.

Patrick is a lifelong resident of Central Florida and holds a degree in Applied Physiology & Kinesiology from the University of Florida. He holds multiple certifications in the Fitness & Wellness Industry and is an avid golfer in his spare time.

Dawn Marzlock is a group exercise instructor at the Crosby Wellness Center. She has been an AFAA certified instructor for more than 20 years in the community, teaching mindful movement classes for all ages and levels. Her approach is holistic, engaging body, mind and spirit. She modifies for all levels. Her experience includes authoring a fitness DVD and televised morning exercise show. Her classes are fun and informative, easy to follow, and she believes it is never too late to take that first step to begin exercise at any age. Her company, Transformative Solutions, brings fitness to any size group organization/business to make a custom fitness plan.
