Every time we eat is an opportunity to fuel our bodies and protect against and fight diseases. By incorporating a few simple tricks into your everyday life, you can do just that. In fact, you’ll be surprised how easy it is to do!

In this program, Laura Varich, MD, a certified lifestyle medicine physician, will share how keeping a few key ingredients and “superfoods” on hand can add disease-fighting nutrients to any meal. And this is a change you’ll be able to easily implement immediately with every meal.

In no time, you and your entire family will be on board (and they may not even notice) with maximizing your nutrition while maintaining the delicious flavors of the foods you already love. As a bonus, Dr. Varich will also discuss how to navigate healthy restaurant eating.

This program is presented by Dr. Laura Varich and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.

About the Presenter:

Laura Varich, MD is the founder of Fresh Physician (FreshPhysician.com), a website that grew out of a desire to turn the tide on the chronic diseases such as weight gain, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, and many others that have become rampant in our society today. Her life’s goal is to share the information that she discovered on how whole-food, plant-based eating is the way to turn around chronic disease, and also how simple and delicious this way of eating can be.
