Join to learn how to use creativity and the arts as tools of self-care, social interaction, and lifelong learning for caregiving.

Caregiving for a loved one is a journey of joy and difficulty. Join to learn how to use creativity and the arts as tools of self-care, social interaction, and lifelong learning. Atlantic Center for the Arts artist ambassadors will share fun, simple activities you can easily duplicate in your home with loved ones. Each session is in person and open to pairs: a caregiver and their care partner (CNA/HHA are also welcome). This program is helpful for caregivers of elders navigating the stages of dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and/or mental stability.

To warm your body and soul, we will also be serving a light lunch of soup and fresh bread from the Nourish Coffee Bar + Kitchen, the Center for Health & Wellbeing’s casual dining restaurant.

Special Instructions: All supplies for this program, including drawing and painting tools and your own sketchbook to keep, will be provided. Because you will be painting and/or collaging, please wear appropriate clothing that may get messy.
