Get into the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day during this interactive performance of the ancient art of Irish dancing. You’ll enjoy complimentary scones, tea, and Irish dancing by some of America’s top dancers from the renowned Magennis Academy, Orlando’s premier Irish dance school, as they display this beautiful art form through intricate footwork and vibrancy. Founded in 2020 by Declan Magennis, a former world champion and professional dancer who successfully toured more than 30 countries with the world’s leading Irish dance shows, the Academy boasts dancers that are Top 10 in the nation and have been successfully qualified for the world championships.

Magennis Academy dancers will perform classic Irish dances before teaching the basics that are sure to impress this St. Patrick’s Day.

Special Note: All attendees will enjoy complimentary scones and tea provided by Nourish Coffee Bar + Kitchen located at the Center for Health & Wellbeing.

This program is presented by Declan Magennis and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in collaboration with Magennis Academy.

A note regarding COVID-19 safety protocols: At this time, all guests at the Center for Health & Wellbeing are required to wear masks in all indoor spaces, including during our education programs. Presenters may remove their masks in order to be better heard by audience members. Attendees, however, must keep their masks fully in place (covering the nose and mouth) during the entire presentation. In accordance with CHWB guidelines, our programs will also be limited in capacity and rooms set to account for social distancing.

Canceling Your Reservation: If you are unable to attend a program, canceling your reservation gives us an accurate count of how many to expect; for sold-out programs, canceling your reservation also allows someone on the waitlist to attend in your place. Canceling your reservation for this program is especially important as we are currently limiting capacities as part of our COVID-19 safety regulations. Canceling can be done in two easy ways: by calling 407.644.2492 and selecting Option 1, then Option 3 to speak to a representative or by using the online ticket cancellation option in your original confirmation email from Eventbrite.

By participating in this program, you agree to CHWB’s Gracious Space policy.
