Join Kathy Lieffort, facilitator at The Artist’s Way Aficionado, in an overview discussion about the popular book written by Julia Cameron called “The Artist’s Way,” which outlines a 12-week program designed to ignite and re-energize our creative muscles. In this introductory session, you’ll learn more about “The Artist’s Way” 12-week program and its tools that are the catalyst to change – morning pages, weekly artist dates and walking without distraction. Afterwards, you can decide if “The Artist’s Way” 12-week program is one you want to explore further on your own.
By participating in this program, you can expect to:
- learn why The Artist’s Way can be an avenue to creative freedom;
- learn the tools utilized in The Artist’s Way;
- and hear stories of Creative Recovery.

About Your Program Presenter
Kathy Lieffort has a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from UCF and is a lifelong resident of Central Florida. Lieffort recently retired from a 35+ year career as a Healthcare Executive and is a trained Spiritual Director/Companion, providing both private and small group direction and facilitating spiritual retreats.
She has facilitated the “Artist’s Way” 12-week program multiple times and now has begun offering Julia Cameron’s new work, “It’s Never Too Late to Start Again” (focused recovering the innate creativity in retirement). Lieffort dubs herself a Recovering Creative and The Artist’s Way Aficionado!
Lieffort also enjoys many creative pursuits – dancing, painting, weaving, decorating, writing and is always busy in the kitchen. She lives in Howey in the Hills, FL, with her husband, Jim, and has two children, two stepchildren and six “perfect” grandchildren.
