The Vision Board workshop will help you combine the power of words, pictures and your imagination to create a visual road map for your year

Generations of athletes have used visualization to improve their performance and results. What if those same principles could help you manifest wellbeing in all areas of your life, from relationships to career and hobbies to your physical and mental health? Vision boards are a wonderful way to start working toward your personal goals and dreams. Psychology Today points out that the act of creating a vision board helps us gain self-awareness and self-reflect on what is important to us – giving us a visual roadmap toward a positive future. So, let’s get started!

Back by popular demand, Central Florida Community Arts Teaching Artist Chris Hicks will lead this session, combining the power of words, pictures and your imagination. Using a series of word prompts, she will lead you on a journey of self-discovery as you choose pictures to embody your next steps on your wellbeing journey. At the end of the class, you’ll leave with your personalized vision board, setting you up for new opportunities and success in the year ahead.

This program is presented by Chris Hicks and hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in collaboration with CFCArts.
