Forget the fad diets. If you want to know the real secret to a lifetime of healthy living and eating, it’s simpler than you think – whole foods. What does that mean? And how do you eat day-to-day in a way that’s best for your overall health?
In this month’s Food as Medicine program, our two presenters, who are both passionate about the many benefits of a plant-forward way of eating, will share their best tips and tricks for eating whole foods for your whole health.
We invite you to join Allison Harrell, a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified culinary medicine specialist, and Arianna Becker, DO, a double board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine, for a class that will kickstart the way you and your family eat and enjoy healthy, nutritious foods for the next phase of your life.
You have two options for attending this program – save your seat in the Nutrition Theatre or register for our free webinar and watch it from home. Whether you’re watching from inside the Nutrition Theatre or from home, you’ll also have the opportunity to share your questions and comments with Allison and Dr. Becker during the program.
This is a demonstration-style cooking program, so our in-person attendees should prepare to sit back, relax and let our chef prepare the meal while you enjoy the delicious items. All attendees, both online and in-person, will receive a booklet for the recipes prepared in class: Ginger Orange Salad, Sweet and Sour Tofu Stir Fry, and Raspberry Chocolate Chocolate Pudding.
This program is presented by Allison Harrell and Arianna Becker, DO, and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in collaboration with AdventHealth.
