Whether it’s the latest in mobile devices and wearables or inspiration from the brain trusts of Aging 2.0, innovations abound for today’s seniors. Did you know the active-aging industry in the U.S. — that includes everything from safety and smart-living to wellness and fitness technologies — is expected to triple in the next few years? There are a host of new and inspiring ideas designed for — and often by — seniors that make life easier for you and support you engaging in activities that fall under the Seven Dimensions of Wellbeing. In this program presented by Dr. David Metcalf, director of UCF’s Mixed Emerging Technology Integration Lab, you’ll learn about the cutting-edge technologies helping seniors perform healthy, regular tasks in their daily life.

By participating in this program, you can expect to:

  • learn about present-day trends and ideas in healthy living for seniors;
  • learn about different technology designed for seniors in mind;
  • and connect with local resources that inspire support for healthy and vibrant aging.

This program is presented by Dr. David Metcalf and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
