Almost a year ago, the Winter Park Health Foundation (WPHF) announced plans for Project Wellness – a unique facility which will be the first of its kind, bringing together Wellness, Fitness and Medicine in one integrated center. Project Wellness (our working name for the facility) will provide a new home for the Peggy & Philip B. Crosby Wellness Center Y, plus it will include new programs and services to help empower members of the community to become healthier and full of vitality.
Phase One of Project Wellness construction is underway. Construction will take place Monday – Friday within the hours of 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. If needed due to unforeseen delays, there could be construction activities on Saturday. Construction will not take place on Sundays. Phase One construction is projected to take approximately three months.
The Crosby Wellness Center will remain open during Phase One of construction. Both entrances to the wellness center will be accessible and the parking lot will not be affected.
