Digital Education Programming Presented by the
Center for Health & Wellbeing
In need of a workout without the equipment? Look no further! Learn simple moves to increase mobility, gain strength and balance using a fitness prop you can find in any part of your home! Join us for this beginner level class where you’ll learn how to use a fitness prop like a stick to work on stretching, strengthening, and balance moves. Attendees will use their stick to improve hand and upper body strength as we gently push and pull on it. The stick also provides stability in your joints and may increase your range of motion and fluidity of movements.
Acceptable fitness props for stretching and stability include brooms, mops, walking sticks and PVP pipes (4 to 6 inches). This program is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
