Join Crosby Wellness Center’s Group Exercise and Tai Chi instructor, Suzy, for a seated Tai Chi class in celebration of May 27’s National Senior Health + Fitness Day. Suzy will guide you through slow graceful movements and a deep breathing exercise practice in this exercise designed to improve balance and reduce fall risk.
Throughout this program Suzy will share tips to integrating these movements into your daily routine to increase physical activity and promote a healthy lifestyle.
About Suzy West
Suzy West is a licensed acupuncturist that has a passion for teaching. She learned several styles of Tai Chi in acupuncture school, but really fell in love with it in 2011 when she started learning the Tai Chi for Health forms created by Dr. Paul Lam. After being a student of the forms for a couple of years, her desire for teaching kicked in, and she got certified to teach Tai Chi for Health.
