In the best of times, mental health is a critical component of overall wellbeing. And in times of challenge or crisis — COVID-19 pandemic, anyone? — maintaining our mental health reaps benefits far beyond a positive outlook or reduced anxiety. When we are mentally well, our relationships, our professional commitments, even our physical bodies are stronger and more effective. One local organization providing resources, leadership, support and services to our community in this space is the Mental Health Association of Central Florida.
This illuminating conversation with Charlotte Melton, Vice President of the organization which has served Central Florida since 1946. Charlotte will share more about the important work being done by MHACF, resources that are available now and in response to COVID-19, her advice and guidance for loved ones struggling with mental health and more.
