Children experience all kinds of anxieties, especially in unpredictable and contentious times. Unfortunately, it’s not likely that they often have the words to express these confusing feelings; rather, our children drop clues about their internal struggles through their play, the presence of somatic symptoms like unexplained stomach aches or body pain, and behavioral changes.
