In this program, Orlando’s own American Ninja Warrior competitor and former professional wakeboarder Emily Durham, and health and wellness expert Dr. Lauren Hodges share their secrets to making health and wellbeing during these stressful times more fun, engaging, and sustainable by applying some tried and true principles and a “Ninja Warrior” mindset.

About the Program Presenters
About Dr. Lauren Hodges
As a performance coach, facilitator, instructional designer, and consultant, Dr. Lauren Hodges blends research in physiology, well-being, neuroscience, learning sciences, behavioral psychology, and purpose into the world of work and performance through the design and delivery of deep learning experiences. She helps her clients bring awareness to the beliefs and mindsets driving behaviors, clarify their larger mission, and identify a few key small, sustainable shifts in behavior that can drastically improve their performance not just at work but at home where it matters most. Her life mission is to serve others by helping them thrive in body, mind, and spirit so that their organizations can thrive too.
Over the past 10 years, Lauren has worked with some of the world’s leaders in health and performance research. Some of her past and current clients include Johnson & Johnson, Accenture, Thrive Global, Stanford Medicine, Hilton, Covenant Living, Covenant Ministries of Benevolence, Enterprise, JP Morgan, Proctor and Gamble, and others.
Lauren holds a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Central Florida and certifications in coaching, strength and conditioning, and performance nutrition. She has been in the health and corporate wellness industry for nearly 15 years.
The two most recent courses Lauren has designed in partnership with Stanford Medicine, Thrive Global, and Accenture in mental health and well-being have reached over a million people since 2016.
The most important hat she wears, though, is as a mother to her 11 and 9-year-old boys, Jake and Ryder, and as a wife to her husband of 15 years, Daniel.
About Emily Durham
Emily Durham has always had a passion for athletics. She had a 16-year professional career in the sport of wakeboarding, winning several titles including X-Game gold medalist, U.S. Pro Tour Champion, National, and World Champion. She retired in 2015 from wakeboarding and began competing on the show, American Ninja Warrior. Emily has been on the show 5 seasons and has plans to compete on the upcoming season. Emily, is a wife, a mom to 2 children and resides in Orlando, FL. She has been a ACE Certified Personal Trainer for over 8 years and loves to help others achieve their fitness goals. With her bubbly personality and fresh fitness ideas, she will keep the class fun, but will also challenge you to work hard.
