Find your Wholeness at the Center for Health & Wellbeing

The Center for Health & Wellbeing was designed to create an environment that builds, supports, and sustains community members no matter where they are in their journey to Wholeness. To us, Wholeness is more than regular visits to the gym – it encompasses care for multiple aspects of your mind, body, and spirit.

We offer several opportunities to find your Wholeness at CHWB.  Step into the Commons and you’ll first find the Healthy Living Experience space. Here, aspiring artists can use art and creativity to help with stress management while creating artwork to take home. The Healthy Living Experience is also used for different classes and workshops that help our community reach total wellbeing. Look across the Commons and you’ll find our Nutrition Theatre. In our cooking classes hosted in the Nutrition Theatre, community members learn from nutritionists, dietitians, and medical licensed staff on the best ways to improve your diet based on your health goals. Our signature Food as Medicine program showcases ways to approach healthy eating for management of specific medical conditions, matching chefs with physicians who share healthy cooking tips and tricks during these classes. These programs are offered both via webinars and in person. Register for an upcoming cooking class HERE.

While on our CHWB Wholeness tour, make a stop at our Community Conference Center and peek at one of our free, open-to-the-public Community Education Programs. These learning opportunities are focused on the disciplines of Wholeness, Fitness, and Medicine; we offer more than 35 programs each month. For example, our Crystal Sound Bowl Bath Meditations are designed to clear and release negative energy, open hearts, and promote a quieter state of mind. A fitness program led by a Crosby Wellness Center instructor offers the opportunity to test out different fitness regimes to discover the right fit for your workout goals. Our Movement as Medicine dance classes incorporate dance and creative movement to address balance, flexibility, and spatial awareness for people living with Parkinson’s disease. If you’re looking for something more solitary, take a walk on our walking track, a space designed for our community members to exercise while looking at the beautiful nature surrounding the CHWB. Or, take your walk around CHWB and visit one of our six outdoor gardens. Relax with the sounds of nature or venture across Perth Lane to neighboring Ward Park and walk the Labyrinth to feel grounded and relaxed.

With all the opportunities at the Center for Health & Wellbeing that support and sustain your journey to Wholeness, we know you will find more than one perfect fit for your wellbeing goals. Learn more about what wholeness means to us HERE.
